This excessive monograph chronologically chapters Jeff Koons’ extravagant body of work. The book is introduced with a bibliographical essay by Ingrid Sischy, followed by detailed a commentary by Katy Siegel of Koons’ works and career, accompanied by hundreds of bright, full bleed reproductions. Koons has become known as the nonconformist artist of the late 20thcentury, creating brash works that critique and present the absurdity of contemporary culture. Whether the works are in the form of sculpture, painting or print, the finish is flawless, with highly skilled assistants producing unfathomable objects; from the steel inflatables to the Made In Heaven series. To an extent, Koons is as much the artwork as his output.
