Published ten years after the bombing of civilians in Guernica during the Spanish Civil War, and two years after the end of the Second World War, this incredibly poignant book follows the history and creation of Picasso's 'Guernica'. Opening with an introduction by Alfred H. Barr, the book also contains the Paul Eluard poem; 'The Victory of Guernica', and text by Juan Larrea accompanying the many preparatory works and photographs.

Condition: The book is in near fine condition, with very slight yellowing to pages. The dust jacket is in fair condition, with some chipping, small losses from the top of the jacket, and discoloration.
