Once a working fisherman’s cottage, today’s Club Cottage is luxurious modern hide-out in Kent. It is the perfect place to rest and be inspired - our very own Society Club-on-sea.


The Cottage

Early Victorian cottage with two en-suite double bedrooms, and a crash bed downstairs. A living room complete with log fire and white leather sofas. There is also a dining room, kitchen, and postage stamp garden with a table and chairs for outside dining. Pet friendly. 

Bedrooms: Two upstairs bedrooms. One, kingsize bed with an en-suite bathroom leading onto a balcony. The other with twin beds and en-suite shower room.   

Kitchen: Fully equipped gas range kitchen, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, and washer dryer combo. 

Stay includes: Fully laundered bedlinen, towels, and beach towels. Smart TV, Wi-fi, bluetooth sound system, and use of the library.


Seconds away from the cottage is a fine shingle beach that flowers grow along all year. Across the seasons the area is good for wild fennel, garlic, blackberry, sloe berries.

It backs onto the Zetland Arms, a pub serving a fine selection of largers and ales, with a restaurant serving British food. 

You can easily walk along the white cliffs of Dover, and on a clear day see France. Ride your bike into Deal on the beachside path and explore the local sites, such as the historic Castle Walmer.

From London - Club Cottage is easily accessibly by rail or car. By rail, it is just over an hour from St Pancras to Walmer, then a few minutes in a taxi. By car, it is 80 miles from central London. Private parking outside the cottage. 


  Prices are seasonal and start at £125 per night on weekdays and £225 per night on weekends.
