JEAN ROYÈRE – DÉCORATEUR À PARIS

275.00

First edition, softcover, published by Norma Editions, 1999. French edition.

A now celebrated French interior designer, Jean Royère refined his trade in cabinetmaking workshops of the Faubourg Saint-Antoine, moving on to develop his influential signature style. Refining and experimenting with various opposing aspects of the modernist aesthetic, Royère composed a visual language that differentiated his interiors from many other designers of the era. This book, published for an exhibition at Musée des Arts décoratifs, attractively presents multiple photographs and drawings, accompanied by text in French.
