After the exuberance of the last Poetry Night of 2016 and launch of our third anthology, there has been time to regroup and reflect. Many have been away, and as we return it seems auspicious that Friday the 13th should be the time to start up again - a date that denotes Luck, good or bad, Fortune or her opposite. If you like themes, choose one of these. If themes are not your thing, know that Poetry Night continues as ever to provide a space for you to do as you please - so long as you don't go on for more than five minutes!
It is in essence a party, punctuated by poems - works in progress, old favourites, silly ditties, the greats, and everything else under the sun. Join this motley group of enthusiasts and novices celebrating the start of the 4th year of this special evening hosted by Chip Martin.
Free for members. Non-members £5. Tickets can be bought here.
