SOHO: NIGHT OF THIN MEN - Mayakovsky, Al Qaida, and The Clash.

Join us at The Society Club Soho for performances taken from books released by Thin Man Press, who since launching in 2012 have not stopped releasing wonderful books on a dizzying range of subjects. To celebrate another year of founder Susan De Muth’s reign we will have readings from several of her books, including:

Guarding Bin Laden: My Life in Al-Qaeda, by Nasser al-Bahri, described as ‘an extraordinary first-hand account of life at the heart of the terrorist organisation’ by Le Figaro Magazine, Mayakovsky, Russian Poet by Elsa Triolet, a biography of Russia’s supreme Futurist revolutionary poet, The Rise and Fall of The Clash by Danny Garcia, the inside story of how one of Britian’s greatest punk bands disintegrated at the height of their fame, Liggers and Dreamers by Josie Demuth, a fiercely observed portrayal of the outrageous characters of London’s art world, as well as live music from the one and only Tymon Dogg, a multi-instrumentalist singer-song writer who’s album Made Of Light was released by Thin Man Music, an offshoot of Thin Man Press.

Tickets for non-members are £5, redeemable against any Thin Man Press book purchase. Please click here to purchase. Members free, but please RSVP:
