SOHO: POETRY NIGHTS hosted by CHIP - theme FLIGHT

A sweet warm night with many regulars, some on the theme of Whimsy & Intelligence, many with original work: Lucy, Mark, Oliver, Eva, Leon and his girlfriend Olivia (first time), Tom and his wife Tania, who sang a poem in Portuguese. We had Charley with Yevtuschenko and Kelly with Sylvia Plath. Angus paired Don Quixote with Zarathustra; Charlotte read a sonnet in English which Uberto performed in Italian. We had Ron ventriloquizing for the People of the Totem and his friend Noelia (another first timer) reciting in Catalan. Barney evoked small town thespians, and Hunter ended with Ajax. Though time grows short, we keep going. Theme for the new week: FLIGHT.
