Capturing magical, significant and often unimaginable times, Leee Black Childers chronicled the late-1960s to mid-1970s through his lens. "Andy Warhol told me to find your spot, grab a chair and let them come to you," said Leee. The book coincided with an exhibition, "Drag Queens, Rent Boys, Pick Pockets, Junkies, Rockstars and Punks" at The Vinyl Factory Chelsea from Thursday 6 December 2012 to 20 January 2013. The 124-page hardback book was limited to 1000 copies - featuring 30+ intimate iconic photos of music and art legends including Patti Smith, Lou Reed, Debbie Harry and Warhol's infamous "Superstars" such as Jackie Curtis and Candy Darling. It is available exclusively from The Vinyl Factory website and Chelsea gallery, and The Society Club in Soho. "These are stories and memories I have treasured from my very eventful past history," said Leee.
