SYLVIA PLATH – WINTER TREES

65.00

First edition, published by Faber and Faber, 1971

The poems in this poignant collection were all written in the last nine months of Sylvia Plath’s life during her elevated state of creativity, many of which are dark and ruthless, and form part of the group which the Ariel poems were chosen. Her radio play Three Women, also included here, was written slightly earlier, in the transitional period between The Colossus and Ariel.
