Molloy is the first book from Beckett’s series of novels known as, ‘The Trilogy’. The book, known as one of Beckett’s greatest works of prose, follows the meandering experiences and bizarre encounters of Molloy on his travels through the countryside.  In the second part of the book, private detective Jacques Moran and his son face similarly strange experiences while on the trail of Molloy.
